Startime Patisserie is a long established small family business. Our bakers make freshly baked breads, rolls, morning goods, fresh cream cakes and pasties alongside birthday, celebration and wedding cakes for customers throughout the local area. The shop, which can be found in Lucius Street Torquay, began trading in 1981 and has over 25 years experience in the baking and wedding cake professions.
We aim to provide high quality, fresh goods with as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. We produce for local people and tourists a range of tasty, hand made cakes, pastries and sandwiches, made downstairs in the bakery.
The business can create a wide range of Wedding cakes, Birthday cakes and other celebration cakes that are handmade and decorated to the customers design. The cakes can be produced in a variety of flavour combinations making them ideal for all ages and to suit all tastes (please see the Celebration Cakes Gallery and Wedding Cakes Gallery for more information). They are available from the shop at a variety of prices depending on the size and style of design.
Startime Patisserie is owned by Eddie and Cathy Wright who have worked within the bakery and Wedding Cakes business for many years. Having previously owned a large bakery in Oxfordshire, they are now happy to run their two small individually styled, traditional shops in Torquay, this one and The Bay Bakery.
